TEACHERS and students of Rickmansworth School spent four days visiting their partner school in Estonia last week.
The visit was part of the European Union funded Comenius Project, to help promote better understanding of different cultures.
The group spent a day in Killi High School working with their hosts as well as students from Romania, the other partner school, on their Sustainable Lifestyles Project.
The pupils gave presentations on the similarities and differences in their current lifestyles, having spent the previous term exchanging diaries of typical and special days.
Students were also given the opportunity to take in the sights as well as learning more first hand about the culture and difficulties of transition facing Estonia.
Rickmansworth students look forward to returning the hospitality when their Romanian and Estonian counterparts visit the school in Scots Hill, Rickmansworth next week.
