A MAN was taken to hospital with a cut to his eye after he was assaulted outside the Rat and Parrot in High Street, Watford, at around 9.45pm on Sunday, May 25.
A verbal argument took place between the victim a 30-year-old man. The offender the proceeded to hit him around the face causing a cut near the eye and bruising to the mouth area. The offender then made off to the top of the town and the victim was taken to hospital to be treated. The offender is described as a white male in his late 20's, about 5ft 6ins with short brown hair. He was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, dark jeans and trainers. He was in company with a white female who did not get involved in the assault but went off with the offender afterwards.
