THE hallmark of any civilised society should be the health and well-being of its young generation.
The unrestricted traffic flow past Wanstead High School should not be tolerated.
Sooner or later some parent will realise that their offspring's health problem could be due to atmospheric pollution and in this age of litigation legal action will follow.
Instead of its admirable attempts to placate all, the council should bite the bullet and protect itself and us, the taxpayers, against such action. The flow past the school must be discouraged or stopped.
Will those in favour of the free for all agree to indemnify the council in the event of legal action?
