I'm speaking out at last, after much comment from both sellers and buyers of houses and flats.

Outside contractors are employed to fix the For Sale or To Let signs outside the places to let or for sale and to direct prospective clients to the appropriate estate agent.

Have others noticed just how often the board, which normally is fixed on to a wooden pole, is hammered into a wall, a brick and mortar wall as often as not?

It doesn't take many hammerings for a low garden wall to split horizontally or crack a wall vertically.

So, will estate agents get the system changed, or will we have to take things further?

Can we have no more damaging properties by work done on behalf of estate agents, please?
