ONE OF the 12 housemates who entered the infamous Big Brother house is a head chef from Southall.

Gos, 31, whose real name is Harjinder, entered the Big Brother house last Friday as one of contestants in the programme's fourth series. He joined five other men and six girls in a bid to win the £70,000 prize money.

He is the first Asian believed to be in the British version of the gameshow and decided to apply for the programme "Because I'm funny, easy-going and a great cook."

Some of the things Gos will miss during his stay in the house are his Chef knives, his bed, car and football.

Gos lives with his family in Southall and admitted to having most things done for him at home. Viewers get the chance to see whether Gos can make the full nine-week stay and win the big prize or whether he will be evicted.

Catch Big Brother live on E4 everyday and highlights on Channel 4.
