Kingston residents Glynis and Herman Gauder (pictured) are the latest victims of a spate of garden thefts to sweep the borough this month.
A £50 two-tier planter which was stolen from the Gauders garden in Waters Road, Kingston, on Friday, May 16, had more sentimental than financial value as it belonged to Glynis's mother who died at Christmas. The incident happened in the early hours. Kingston police said a number of similar crimes had been reported lately. Witnesses can call PC Kilburn on 020 8541 1212.
