Free advice: A workshop offering residents free advice on a range of subjects will be on offer at the Purley Cross Information Centre next Wednesday (June 4).
Croydon Council and Age Concern along with representatives from the Inland Revenue, Pension Service and New Deal for Lone Parents will all be on hand to give free advice to residents.

Small talk: Home-grown comedian Ronnie Corbett will be the special guest at the Croydon Carers Centre next month to mark the beginning of a national awareness campaign.
The Croydon-based comic will help launch Carers Week at the Katharine Street centre on June 9 by kick-starting a raffle, fruit tombola and auction.
