Mr Rajesh Khosla is right to state the previous Kingstonian management in its efforts to bring higher grade football to Kingsmeadow, brought financial difficulties upon the club resulting in the club going into administration.

Like most Kingstonian supporters, I welcomed Mr Khosla's intervention and believed him when he said he wanted to "put something back into the community".

I also believed Mr Khosla when he said he had a 10-year business plan for the club.

Mr Khosla's proposed sale of Kingsmeadow to AFC Wimbledon will be detrimental to the long-term future of Kingstonian and may lead to its demise.

I joined the Supporters' Trust some weeks ago and wish it success but to be successful it will need large injection of cash.

Mr Khosla has said he stands to make £2.5million profit from the sale. He should, if he is an honourable man, give perhaps £2million to the trust to enable the club to survive.

If Mr Khosla does not give a large cash sum to the trust his rescue will be seen as merely a business venture and he will be viewed by Kingstonian supporters as a charlatan.

The events that have occurred over the past 12 months at Kingsmeadow should be a warning and wake-up call to the Football Association and all football clubs.
