I would like to bring to everyone's attention what is going on in the Atheldene centre.
We were told last week that all the elderly and physically disabled are going to be moved on to other centres.
Most of the elderly have been attending the centre for many years and are terribly upset by this proposal.
I myself am disabled and been coming here for seven years and do not want to go into an old people's home as I am not an old person.
The reason we are being moved is so Wandsworth Council can bring in more people with learning difficulties, and we feel very strongly that this is wrong.
The Atheldene was built for all age groups and as such should be kept that way.
