Drama therapy classes at Foresters Primary School will continue for a further three years after the group that runs them received an £11,000 grant.
Funding had only been available to continue the sessions which are primarily for pupils with autism for one year but a grant from the Lloyds TSB Foundation has secured the classes' future.
Deborah Haythorne, who is from Roundabout, the group which runs the sessions, said: "It's great news."
