Carshalton High for Girls pupils recently unveiled a ceramic sculpture they have spent months creating with the help of a local artist.
The artwork depicts historic borough scenes and will decorate a nondescript wall at the school.
Artist Simon Honey worked with pupils on the project, teaching them how to use clay and fire it to produce finished ceramics.
Head of art Tim Devenish said: "We were pleased to work with Simon and delighted with the final work, which we will be entering into a national competition."
