Wimbledon captain Richard Pearson has demanded a huge improvement when his side entertain Weybridge in the Castle Lager Premier Division tomorrow.

Pearson knows his side must produce much better performances if they are to retain the title they won last year.

The Dons lost their unbeaten record last Saturday when last year's runners-up Guildford beat them in comprehensive style.

Chasing 256 for victory, Wimbledon could only manage 174.

It was their second failure with the bat in four matches this season, but Pearson believes a big total is just around the corner.

"We were completely outplayed in all three departments last weekend and it was very disappointing because I know we are better than that," he said.
