A SCRUTINY panel has been set up by the Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) to improve the organisation's approach to gun crime.
Scrutiny panel chairwoman Cindy Butts said: "The panel will be seeking out best practice and making recommendations on how good ideas might be
developed in partnership with all agencies to cut gun crime in London."
The final report with findings and recommendations will be published on the MPA website in January 2004.
