An investigation has begun after a body was found in a field near the M25 motorway.
Police were called after the corpse was found in Fetcham, in Surrey, yesterday afternoon.
Detectives say they are still not sure how the body came to be in the field and forensic experts were at the scene last night gathering evidence.
Detective Superintendent Warren Rockett, in charge of the investigation, said no evidence of foul play had been found.
It is thought the decomposed remains had been in the field for some time.
A post mortem is being held, although police say it could be some time before the identity of the body is known.
