A UNIQUE alternative to the teddy bears' picnic is coming to Beckenham this month.
The area's first ever teddy bear parachute jump, organised by Beckenham & West Wickham Lions will take place on July 2.
Children and adults are invited to bring their teddies and parachute them from a launch balloon.
Specially trained beararamedics will be on hand for any sprained paws or burst seams.
Parachutes will be provided and admission is free of charge.
