Residents turned out in style to a school's seasonal fete to raise much-needed funds.

Lessness Heath Primary School, Erith Road, Belvedere, was the scene for hours of summer madness on June 11.

For a donation of just 30p, punters enjoyed a boot sale and go-karts, as well as performances from majorettes and the Territorial Army.

Cem and Gemma, who came fourth in the BBC's Strictly Dance Fever programme, were on hand to give a performance of street dancing and in all the day raised £1,800.

Organiser Julie Taylor said: "It was a great day and Cem and Gemma were fantastic.

"I would like to thank the PTA and all the money raised will go towards new school equipment."
