A CORRUPT immigration worker who harboured an illegal immigrant has been jailed for three and a half years.
Olufunke Sonoiki, 36, of Moorside Road, Bromley, hid a middle-aged Nigerian woman at her Bromley home.
The woman's passport had been stamped with an indefinite leave-to-remain stamp, falsely issued by Sonoiki.
She was discovered after police conducted a search of the premises in December 2003.
Sonoiki, who was based at immigration control at Dover Eastern Docks, pleaded guilty at Canterbury Crown Court to misconduct in public office and also to five counts of facilitation.
