DETECTIVES investigating the murder of a Soho hostess are offering a £20,000 reward to help catch her killer.

In March 2004 Camille Gordon was working at the Blue Bunny's Club in Archer Street W1 when she was stabbed to death.

Police believe 23-year-old Camille was attacked by a customer after an argument over an unpaid bill.

Before the attack a man was involved in a dispute with staff over a bill for £375. It is thought the man spent ten minutes in the club before being presented with the bill.

After a discussion the man agreed to pay £80 and left. A witness said the man returned later.

Camille was sitting at the entrance to the club when she was attacked by a man. She struggled downstairs and collapsed.

The attacker was seen to run off from Archer Street into Great Windmill Street towards Shaftesbury Avenue.

Detectives recovered CCTV that shows a man inside Piccadilly Circus tube station, and walking to the southbound Bakerloo tube line where he boarded a tube.

This man is described as black, mid-20s, approx 5"8, wearing a distinctive jacket which police believe is a Cleveland Indians Major Baseball League-type jacket.

Police also want to speak to a man Camille was seen talking to in a Peckham night club and a man who visited Kennington police station.

Detective Inspector Andy Mortimer said: "Nine months ago Camille was murdered and the man responsible is still free. I would urge anyone who has any information that might be relevant to this investigation to get in touch with my team.

"A reward of £20,000 is now in place for anyone with information that can help us bring this killer to justice. Someone out there certainly knows or has a strong suspicion who did this and I am asking them to call me.

"In the early hours of Monday March 1 we think that Camille went to "Castaway's" in Peckham High Street. Inside this club we think she met a black man who she knew from Birmingham and that he drove her home of South Norwood. This man has still not come forward and we really need to speak to him.

"Also a few days after Camille was murdered a man came into Kennington police station. Unfortunately he has not been back in touch with us again and I think he may hold vital information."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at the Incident Room on 020 8358 0100, or to remain anonymous contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
