FIFTEEN girls will be battling it out on Saturday night, to be crowned the winner of the Herts and Essex Honeyz modelling competition.

A big crowd is expected at the H20 nightclub, Bishop's Stortford, for the culmination of the contest, run by the nightspot in conjunction with the Citizen, Ten 17FM, Toni and Guy, Bellissimo Hair and Beauty, Acclaim Model Agency, Flute Designer Wear and Stella Artois.

The final will be hosted by Ten 17FM presenter Harvey Lee.

The final 15 girls were whittled down from an orginal entry of about 100, with the semi-final held at the Southmill Road nightclub on Saturday evening.

The finalists (pictured) are Tracey Pretty, Danielle Kent, Erica Labadie, Wendy Miller, Elaine Asker, Annabel Lakin, Cecilia, Liz Wood, Rebekah Bull and Emily Dawson.

They will be joined by Carlie Touse, Louise Clark, Hayley Rivett, Martine Fenn and Claire Turner.

The winner will receive a year's modelling contract and portfolio courtesy of Acclaim Modelling Agency, and a full hair makeover to the value of £120.

The winner and two runners-up will receive designer clothing from Bishop's Stortford retailer Fluke.

James Hardwidge, from Acclaim, said: "The competition has proved very popular. The club was packed on Saturday and all the models enjoyed the turnout."
