THE POWER of song will raise money for Children in Need in South Woodford.
A karaoke night is being held at the White Hart pub in High Road, tomorrow night from 7.30pm to raise money for the BBC annual appeal in aid of sick and disadvantaged children.
The more who go along to sing, the more money will be raised for the charity, says organiser Allison Robertson.
She said: "Everything we are making on the night will go towards Children in Need.
"As well as the karaoke, there will be buckets going around so people can make donations.
"It will cost £1 to sing, and we're hoping to be able to get people up, one after the other, so come along and have a good time while raising money for such a good cause."
