BEXLEY youngsters are celebrating after they were declared one of the most successful fundraising groups in a nationwide event.
Their Splashathon, held in Splashworld, raised £1,000 for Tommy's, a charity which researches the causes of premature and still births and miscarriages.
This put them in the top 20 in the country for the amount raised.
Parkwood Leisure, which runs Bexley's swimming pools has already committed itself to next year's event.
