A CHURCH is donating almost £1,000 to the borough's new secondary school.
Cash raised at St Augustine's Church's summer flower festival will be handed over to the Bishop Justus CofE School and the cheque will be presented to headteacher Kathy Griffiths at a service at the church, Southborough Lane, Bickley, on November 21.
Bishop Justus opened in a temporary block off Magpie Hall Lane, Bromley, in September while the main school is built nearby.
The school's foundation stone was due to be laid at a ceremony at 10.30am today.
