VOLUNTEERS really made a difference by gearing up for the task of clearing up the nearby cemetery.
More than 30 Brownies along with members of the Swanley Environment group joined forces to clear litter, cut back overgrown vegetation and spruce up St Mary's Church graveyard, St Mary's Road.
Swanley mayor Councillor Gill Fittock also leant a hand during the two-hour operation which was held as part of the national Make a Difference Day.
