A MAN has been charged in connection with three cannabis factories raided by police.
Officers found 6,500 plants worth more than £1m in units on a trading estate in Malham Road, Forest Hill, on October 11.
Richard Lehy, aged 39, of Lychet Road, Bromley, appeared at Greenwich Magistrates' Court on November 4 charged with production of cannabis and two counts of money laundering.
The factories contained well established professional growing operations and the raids have been described as a significant blow to a criminal organisation.
A 37-year-old woman was arrested on October 22 and is bailed to return to a south London police station in early December Anyone who has any information about the production or selling of drugs in the borough of Lewisham should call Lewisham CID on 020 8284 5101.
