PRIMARY school pupils are celebrating a good report by education watchdogs.
Ofsted inspectors have praised Hayes Primary School, George Lane, for "good teaching and a keenness to learn".
The report was based on an inspection at the end of the summer term.
Ofsted found the school was well-managed and said pupils' "behaviour and attitudes to work were very good".
One section states: "Pupils love their school. They appreciate every aspect of their life with each other and the staff."
Chairman of governors Stella Brackpool said: "We can be proud of all that has been achieved. On behalf of the governors, I would like to congratulate the headteacher, Anthony Hayes, and his staff."
