CHILDREN in Slade Green have been left without their play equipment after vandals trashed their playground.
Swings and other equipment in the playground off Howbury Lane were hacked down with bolt cutters and the perimeter fencing destroyed.
Now community police officers are appealing to residents who saw anything contact them.
The playground damage is just part of a pattern of vandalism across the area which needs to be stamped out before plans to upgrade the playground can go ahead.
