TWO police officers accused of taking part in a street brawl could face a retrial.
PCs Liam Herzberg, aged 37, and Steven Lloyd, aged 36, allegedly clashed with four members of the public in Bromley High Street in the early hours of September 27, 2002.
After the fight, Paul Belcher, aged 24, of Isabella Drive, Farnborough, was left lying unconscious.
Belcher, who is accused of starting the fight, Herzberg, from Croydon, and Lloyd, from Bromley, all deny affray.
A Blackfriars Crown Court jury failed to reach verdicts and the three were bailed to November 27 for a decision on whether the Crown Prosecution Service will pursue a retrial.
Sergeant Robert Wiggins, aged 38, of Bromley, was earlier cleared of the same charge.
