CHAT TO MAYOR: Lewisham Mayor Steve Bullock will visit residents, community groups, schools and businesses over the coming months to hear people's views. He will visit Brockley on September 7. This will be followed by a discussion at St Andrew's Centre, Brockley Road, at 6.30pm.
GET INTO UNIVERSITY: A helpline for students hoping to get a university place this September received a record 4,000 calls on its first day. Greenwich University's helpline saw a 40 per cent increase in calls on last year. Call the free helpline on 0800 005006 until Friday.
