A PAIR who committed a violent robbery on a night bus are being sought by police.

The robbery happened on the N47 bus on August 16 as it travelled along Deptford Church Street at 4am.

The two 18-year-old suspects sat behind a 19-year-old and demanded he hand over his ring and mobile phone, threatening to stab him when he refused.

They then got off the bus outside the Birds Nest pub, Deptford Church Street, and the victim stayed on the bus and called the police.

It is thought the same robbers then attacked two men on the route 36 bus outside Deptford DLR station.

Detective Constable Scott Nodding said: "The victim of the first vicious and unprovoked attack has been left with facial injuries and bruises and abrasions to his body, all for the sake of a mobile phone.

"Not content with the damage they caused in the first attack, the suspects went on to injure two more innocent young men."

One of the men was wearing a dark T-shirt, dark trousers and a camouflage-patterned baseball cap.

The second suspect was wearing a dark jacket and a camouflage-patterned baseball cap.
