Twickenham continued their winning run with a comprehensive six wicket win at Alexandra Park.

Twickenham got an immediate breakthrough from bowler Chris Hughes. Only Park's Mike McGowan (42) showing any resistance, as Twickenham dismissed the home side in the 37th over for 94. George Dupreez and Mike Barnes picked up three wickets each, Chris Hughes two, and Brayden Teece and JP Cronje one.

Promoted openers Chris Goodman (19) and Damon Combrinck (10) got the scoreboard going before a flurry of wickets saw Twickenham suddenly stutter to 52 for 3. However, Brayden Teece (45 n.o.), with support from first Simon Hawley and then Matt Bendelow took Twickenham home in 24 overs and another 30 points.

Neighbours Richmond were the visitors to Twickenham Green for the eagerly anticipated quarter-final of the IBEX Middlesex Cup on Sunday.

The visitors elected to bat after winning the toss. A good start from opener Hewlett saw Richmond hitting five an over but wickets were fell at the other end. Good accurate spells from Scott Linden (3-37) Chris Hughes (2-21) and spinner Chris Goodman (2-18) saw Richmond struggle to 169 all out with only Hewlett (61) showing any form with the bat.

In reply, Twickenham found scoring difficult. The second wicket partnership of 48 between Damon Combrinck (35) and Brayden Teece (24) saw did see them take the ascendancy and a fifth wicket partnership of 48 between Chris Hughes (31) and George Dupreez (20n.o.) saw Twickenham close in on the target. The loss of another wicket saw Matt Bendelow seal the game with Dupreez as Twickenham booked their place in the semi against Ickenham.
