A MOTORIST is seriously ill in hospital after a car accident last night.
The 39-year-old man suffered serious head and hand injuries after the Ford Focus Zetec he was driving overturned on a bend in Eden Park Avenue, Beckenham.
A Bromley police spokesman said the grey car clipped parked cars before ending up on its roof at around 6.49pm yesterday (March 14).
Emergency services were called and the driver was taken to St George’s Hospital, Tooting.
The road was closed until 10.30pm last night.
