A CAR crash in a supermarket underground car park has left an elderly man with spinal injuries.
Three fire engines and two ambulances attended an incident at Morrisons in Queensway, Petts Wood, at around 1.45pm today.
A shopper, who asked not to be named, said: "There were two cars involved.
"The paramedics came but they could not get him out of the car safely so the fire brigade arrived and cut the top of the car off. They got him out and took him to hospital."
Bromley police have confirmed a man was taken to Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup with injuries which are "not life-threatening or life-changing".
A spokesman for the London Ambulance service confirmed the man is 73-years-old and suffered spinal injuries.
