YOUNGSTERS are being invited to a pool party for a chance to get fit and have fun at the same time.

The Jump-in party is for eight to 14-year-olds and will be held from 6 to 8pm on March 20 at White Oak Leisure Centre, Hilda May Avenue, Swanley.

DJ Ignition will be providing the music with disco lights and plenty of fun activities in the pool, which youngsters will have all to themselves.

Parents are welcome to stay in the leisure centre’s cafe.

Tickets cost £5 and must be bought in advance.

Assistant director of public health at NHS West Kent Val Miller said: “This scheme is a really fun way for children to get a taste for using the pool.

“Swimming is a great way to achieve 60 minutes a day moderate exercise which contributes to good health both now and in later years.”

To buy tickets call the leisure centre on 01322 662188.
