POLICE swooped on a house in Mottingham this morning, arresting a man in connection with an assault.
Officers went to Beaconsfield Road at 9.58am and arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of GBH.
It follows an incident on January 17 in Marvels Lane, Grove Park, when a 34-year-old man was left with a fractured leg and bruises after being assaulted with a blunt instrument.
Police also arrested a woman on suspicion of harbouring a wanted person and obstructing police.
Both were subsequently also arrested on suspicion of possessing Class B drugs.
Police say a dangerous dog was also seized at the property.
The pair are currently in police custody.
