MINSTEAD: Night Stalker accused Delroy Grant in court again

A 52-YEAR-OLD man accused of being the Night Stalker appeared via videolink at Maidstone Crown Court today (Feb 8).

Delroy Grant, of Brockley Mews, Brockley, was arrested on November 15 and has been charged with five rapes, six indecent assaults and 11 burglaries between 1992 and last year.

He has been remanded in custody and is next due to appear at Inner London Crown Court on April 30.

Operation Minstead was set up in 1998 to hunt for a sex attacker dubbed the Night Stalker, who targeted elderly women and men in their homes.

Over the years incidents have taken place in Orpington, Downham, Lee, West Wickham, Bickley, Bromley and Beckenham.

Pensioners in Sidcup, Catford and Forest Hill were also targeted.
