A BURGLAR has been jailed after being found guilty of breaking into a house.
Perry Mitchell broke into a house in Doveney Close, St Paul’s Cray, in the early hours of July 10 and stole £400, credit cards, a digital photo frame, a hand-held games console, a digital camera, a mobile phone and hair straighteners.
The 21-year-old, of Teal Avenue, St Paul’s Cray, was arrested shortly after the burglary when a police dog found him hiding under a car with the stolen items.
Mitchell denied committing the burglary but was found guilty at Croydon Crown Court and jailed for 15 months.
He has previous convictions for burglary and theft.
