FIREFIGHTERS were called to a demolition site yesterday where a storage tank was ablaze.
Four pumps were used to tackle the fire at the Syral UK site by the Blackwall Tunnel.
Crews were called out at 2pm and it took around two hours to extinguish the flames.
Fire crews from East Greenwich used a relay system to get water from the nearest hydrant as there was no mains water on site.
