AN INTERNATIONAL debt counselling charity has teamed up with a local church to run a free money management course.
Financial experts from Christians Against Poverty are running the course at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in East Hill, Dartford, from 9.30am to noon on January 16, 23 and 30.
A spokesman for the charity says people who attend will be given tips on budgeting and offered debt counselling.
Ray Bindra, senior minister at Emmanuel Church, has welcomed the course, saying: “People in our community are feeling confused and worried about money and don’t know where to turn for help.
“Regardless of how much or how little money we have, we must understand how to manage it.”
