SANTA visited a Christmas fair at a school to say hello to the elves (pupils in costume) and help raise money for charity.
Cobham Hall boarding school for girls, off Brewers Road, held its annual Round Square Christmas Fair earlier this month and more than 250 people attended.
Santa was in his grotto to meet youngsters while a number of students who had dressed as elves sold a variety of tasty treats, and in total more than £1,000 was raised for a host of charities.
School PR and events co-ordinator Diana Usher said: “Students had worked hard, cooking a range of international treats for sale.
“Also, games and activities were organised for younger visitors, who particularly enjoyed meeting Santa in his grotto.”
