CHISLEHURST: Cabaret show attracts sell-out audiences

A SCHOOL hall was been pulled into a time warp when youngsters performed a series of cabaret shows to sold-out audiences.

Coopers Technology College in Chislehurst produced three shows.

The cast and crew were made up of pupils from every year group at the school in Hawkwood Lane.

Head of creative arts and producer Wanda Polaszek said: “This show is about empowering students.

“I’ve been here 10 years and have run it every year.

“It has turned into a tradition which the children aspire to.”

Around 90 children helped put on singing, dancing and acting performances to 250 people each night, opening with a rendition of The Rocky Horror Show’s Time Warp.
