LOOKING out of the window has become like peering into the ocean for artistic children.
Pupils at Churchfields Primary School spent a week designing artwork around the theme ‘under the sea’.
Their ideas have been transferred to translucent film and put on the windows in the school’s small hall in Churchfields Road, Beckenham.
Artist Maggie Higginson helped the youngsters to produce their designs.
Churchfields head teacher Tom Hyndley said: “This has been a great week and we look forward to working with Maggie again.
“We are very keen to develop a long term working relationship with artists.
“We believe this will give children rewarding experiences and huge sense of pride when they see their work decorating the building."
The school has an Artsmark silver award because of its commitment to arts education.
