Victim: Edward Highwood, aged 79
A POLISH man has denied killing a pensioner in his own home.
Marcin Orlowski, aged 20, of no fixed address, appeared at the Old Bailey yesterday (Nov 11) charged with murdering Edward Highwood at the 79-year-old's home in Hollymount Close, Greenwich.
The pensioner had suffered severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene on July 18.
Orlowski will remain in custody until the Old Bailey trial starts on January 11 next year.
