YOUNGSTERS have been honoured for overcoming challenges and achieving goals.
The children, who are all in care, were applauded for successes including sporting achievements, outstanding exam results and getting university places.
Broadcaster and business consultant Terry Jervis gave an encouraging talk at the awards ceremony which was held after hours at The Glades, High Street, Bromley.
All 60 of the winners were then given a certificate and voucher by Bromley’s mayor Councillor Douglas Auld.
The portfolio holder for children and young people Councillor Ernest Noad also attended the ceremony.
He said: “These awards show how much Bromley’s looked after children have to offer.
“They are a credit to our borough.
“These youngsters have overcome great challenges to achieve their goals and their inspirational journeys have given everyone a new determination to go out and reach for a whole new list of successes to celebrate next year.”
