I sometimes ask myself the above question. I think it is important to keep the Piggott Blog up-and-running but sometimes nothing inspires me. I must admit the news of Boris The Spider running after some iron bar wielding hoodlums down an alleyway caught my fancy but then I realised that perhaps Boris didn't really understand what he was taking on. After all, Boris, it wasn't exactly the Bullingdon Club, was it? So I rejected the idea.

David Cameron went shopping in Scunthorpe the other day so I thought perhaps there might be a blog in how he was mixing with the common folk and getting to grips with the plight of those of us who were not born with silver spoons in our mouths. Then I remembered that his father-in-law owns the best part of Lincolnshire. Not exactly the Bullingdon Club either, is it, Dave?

Then I thought a blog about what ordinary people get up to in their everyday lives might be appropriate. How ordinary people who get up early and work hard for a living to pay taxes - you know what I mean.

So I reckon I will let the everyday people tell us what they get up to from morning to night.

How hard do you work to keep your heads above water? It's over to you.
