POLICE want to speak to a man in connection with an alleged attempted sexual assault.

A 20-year-old woman was walking in Alkerden Lane, Swanscombe, in the early hours of Saturday morning when she was grabbed from behind by a man, however she managed to escape from him.

She informed police of the attempted attack and described the man to officers.

He is described as a white man, aged around 30, around 6ft tall with a heavy build and fat stomach. He has wide nostrils and a round-shaped face with a small dark tuft of hair under his bottom lip.

He was wearing faded light blue jeans and a dark hooded cardigan with Stone Island written on a badge on the right upper sleeve.

The cardigan had a brown hood lined with brown fur and a zip front with toggle buttons.

He was wearing white K-Swiss trainers and a silver cross chain around his neck.
