A fun packed evening of 60’s music and 60’s dress was held on 23 October at Sidcup & Footscray United Services Club, Sidcup to raise money for Greenwich & Bexley Cottage Hospice, who are based in Abbey Wood.
Community fundraiser, Julie Lawrie-Raison said: “The night was brilliant. Everyone danced the night away to the sounds of The Happy Medium Party Band. We raised over £800 for the Hospice. Thanks to everyone who came along and joined in the fun.”
The evening’s entertainment included a hot supper, some fancy footwork and a raffle - with a top prize of a pair of front row seats to see the Jersey Boys at The Prince Edward Theatre, in London’s West End.
