A CHILDREN’S hospice is hoping to spread some seasonal cheer with a pair of Christmas-themed fun runs.
Demelza Hospice Care for Children, which has a hospice in Eltham, will be holding holding Santas on the Run events where all participants dress-up as Father Christmas.
The 2km runs will be held on London’s Riverside Walkway on December 3 and at Ashford Designer Outlet on December 6.
Registration is £7.50 per adult, £3.50 per child or £20 for a family of two adults and two children. Full Santa suits are included in the price.
Events co-ordinator Sarah Marsh, said: “Santas on the Run is a fun chance for the whole family to feel the festive spirit early and at the same time raise vital funds.”
Demelza provides hospice care for over 570 terminally-ill children and their families accross Kent, East Sussex and South East London. A new hospice in Wensley Road, Eltham, was officially opened in June.
