Families can go for a ramble around the hedgerows studied by Charles Darwin and find out more about their importance as a source of food and materials for our ancestors and other animals. The event takes place between 10.30am and 12.30pm on November 7 and starts at St Mary’s Church in Cudham Road, Downe. It is two miles and costs £1.50 for adults and £1 for children and over 60s.
