BECKENHAM: Hairdressers raise cash for charity by having 'pink' day
HAIRDRESSERS have helped to raise cash for a charity by dressing up in pink.
Staff at Roxby Hair Designers in Croydon Road, Beckenham, have raised £481 for charity, Breast Cancer Care.
The team of 10 dressed up on October 24 as pink fairies and sold pink refreshments such as pink cakes and rose wine.
They also raised cash by holding a ‘pin the tail on a pink pig’ game and by asking customers to guess which baby photograph was one of the members of staff.
Salon manager, Carly O’Neil, said: “We had a lovely day and the guests really enjoyed it as well.”
Breast Cancer Care give advice and help to people affected by breast cancer.
