TALENTED students at a college have been given an inspirational talk by a broadcaster.
Former Kelsey Park Sports College pupil Phil Beadle spoke to the students about his ‘inspirational education’ he received at the school.
Mr Beadle is a teacher, journalist, and author.
He is also known for his unorthodox teaching methods in the Channel 4 series ‘The Unteachables’, where he successfully taught a group of drop-out teenagers.
The talk came during a presentation evening where students were given awards to celebrate their academic success.
Mr Beadle was joined in the prize-giving by Bromley Council’s director of children and young people services Gillian Pearson.
Mr Beadle said: “Even the smallest positive things you do every day can help you to achieve in life.
“No positive energy is ever wasted and builds success in later life.”
